I used to really enjoy going to Borders to find a new book to read; going to the young adult section and looking at all the titles made me smile. Until now. Whenever I go through Borders I have to deal with all the new vampire books puking their vile emo-ness on me while Edward Cullen stares at me from a T-Shirt. What. The fuck. What the HELL has happened to the story universe? I can understand why people enjoy reading about monsters,(I do too), but the least the authors could do is make the main female character just a tad less whiny or the main male character less like a total moron.

The other day someone asked me if I had seen True Blood, and of course I answered yes. But I think the thing that got to them was when I told them that Sookie Stackhouse was a stupid bimbo who needed her eyes stabbed out. Not a typical response sense everyone seems to be obsessing over vampires and their existential angst. Too bad most vampire obsessed people are teenie-boppers or idiots with a horrible IQ who can't tell the difference between a god character and a weak character.

And as for Twilight?. . . God, I wish I had never read that book if it meant I had to be a fan along with all the faggots out there that can't get enough of a non-realistic character and a horribly dumb female.
